Walk-A-Thon - 2005 and 2006
The Kenneth Stanton Walk for Cancer was conceived as a way
for Justin to fulfill his community service-based Eagle Scout Project. Not only did he meet the requirements to become an Eagle Scout, but his cancer fundraiser was a great way to honor the legacy and continue the fight of his father, Kenneth Stanton.
2005
On June 4, 2005 nearly 200 hundred people turned out to participate in
the event, which raised $30,000 - every penny going directly towards
cancer research at Massachusetts General Hospital.
2006
Over the past year the Kenneth Stanton Fund has branched out in order
to increase its annual financial contributions. The Second Annual Kenneth
Stanton Walk for Cancer took place on May 20, 2006 and raised an additional
$10,000 for the Fund.
